[Congrats, Morgan. You're... well, you probably have no idea where you are. Judging from the surroundings, though, it seems to be a noble's home, late at night. The hallway is mostly dark, illuminated only slightly by light coming from other rooms, the air is silent—

—and then there sure is a knife flying straight at you.]

[She follows quickly, and takes his hand with an equal lack of hesitation.

She definitely needs to learn this spell; it's usefulness can't be denied.

But for now, she just takes his hand and wraps an arm around him, because you can't be picky about physical proximity when you're trying to wrench two people up to the top of a wall.]

[He then chants the second part of the invocation, as the rope retracts, taking them to the top of the wall with a slight jump.

Without wasting a moment, he lets go of Morgan as soon as she's above a surface and rushes at the guards, knocking them out before they have the chance to notice them or, for the ones who immediately did, make any noise.

Sparing Morgan a glance, he then jumps off the other side of the wall with a quick invocation of Kuen, expecting her to follow again.]

[intendance]

[This is definitely Zohra's domain, and his efficiency is impressive; Morgan simply follows as best she can, taking a short breath before following him with that jump.

It's honestly a good think Kuen comes easily now, because there is no time for doubt; but then again, Morgan has never suffered particularly from doubt or humility, and thus she doesn't need to hesitate in following him, landing lightly on the ground beside him a brief moment after he does.]

[As she lands, Zohra grins at her, before again beckoning for her to follow as he runs in the opposite direction of the mansion. The hardest part is over now, but it never hurts to put in more distance.

Once they're suitably far away enough from the mansion, he lets out a light laugh.]

All right! That went pretty well, I'd say.

[intendance]

[Once they're far enough away, all of that tension and adrenaline and excitement culminates in Morgan beaming and giving Zohra a big hug.

It's overdue, as far as she's concerned.

And when she releases him, she's still beaming, because--]

Wow. That was amazing--like something straight out of a legend!

[That much excitement and two lone battlers...it really does read a bit larger than life.]

Huhwha—wha—?

[As usual, he freezes up when she hugs him, awkwardly standing in place until she releases him.]

W-What I'd do? I mean, I know I'm an awesome genius and all, but what was that hug for!?

[intendance]

[She's still grinning at him, so pleased and entertained.]

What didn't you do that deserved a hug? I mean honestly...I owe a lot to you right now! If not for you, I would've been in a lot of trouble.

[hammy]

Seriously... You've got really bad luck, you know that? I don't even know how you ended up in this world in the first place, but appearing in a noble's home like that is seriously shitty luck. It's a good thing I found you before anyone else did.

[a sigh]

And I didn't think any other Hidden Elites would be there on business either. Honestly, talk about bad timing...

[intendance]

I do...Father has really bad luck too, so he probably passed that down to me.

[A sheepish smile.]

But my luck could have been worse too--I mean, you were there! That's really lucky.

Well, I guess that's the other side of the coin.

[a shrug]

Maybe my magnetic presence brought you there?

[intendance]

...Oh! Those magnetic bonds we were talking about that one time?

[only they would have precedence for something like this.]

Maybe so! I must like you even more than I realize, for that to be the case!

Well... Well, of course! I'm the supreme Zohra Rom, after all. What's not to like?

[intendance]

[She pauses, humming thoughtfully.]

Mm...I dunno! Especially not after that performance.

I think Pia would be wise to fall in love with you--after you've grown up a bit, at least.

[A decisive nod. Yep, definitely.]

[hammy]

... Hey, what's that supposed to mean?

[intendance]

...You're great, but you're thirteen, and that's significantly too young to think about settling down with someone!

...Isn't that right?

[she's being nice, okay.]

[hammy]

B-But she can still love me! Love knows no age!

[intendance]

[...s-snerk.

They're on the run and it's quite dark out, but Morgan is still giggling, hand clasped over her mouth to try to not laugh too loudly in the dark.]

[hammy]

... I know you're laughing at me...

[intendance]

[And eventually she catches her breath and calms down and grins at him.]

Just don't get married until you're old enough, all right?

But I suppose now that I'm here, I might get to see some more interesting things I thought I was going to miss out on!

I-I still need to get stronger first! I don't have the right to marry her until then!

[oh god he's red now]

... Interesting things? Like what?

[intendance]

[...c-cute. Morgan giggles at his blush and pokes at his cheek.]

You're blushing, you're blushiiiiing!

But it's all right. You'll get there. And one of those interesting things would be Pia, of course!

I-I am not! Shut uuuuuup!

Huh? It's not like you're gonna see her. She could be anywhere in the continent right now.

[intendance]

[Tee hee hee.

But she allows him to bat her hand away, tilting her head.]

But I'm closer now than I was in Haven! So I'm feeling pretty optimistic!

[hammy]

I haven't even seen her in the last three years, remember!?

[intendance]

[And at that, Morgan just shrugs, and while she's still smiling, it's a bit more muted than when she was teasing him.]

That's right. But I'm...not sure how long I'll be here for, so...It seems premature to disregard the possibility entirely.
