log; not crazy really
Die! Just die—all of you!
[For anyone who happens to be passing by the area, they might notice one (1) teenage boy stomping on a flower bed like his life depends on it.
STOMP STOMP STOMP—yeah those flowers are looking pretty dead now. He continues stepping on them though, just to make sure.]
Damn it! This is—! Just die!
[HE IS NOT CRAZY, HE SWEARS.]

Please calm down. Is something the matter?
no subject
Kaoru whips around, glaring.]
What do you want?
no subject
I want you to stop causing needless property damage. If you're frustrated, there are other ways to vent.
no subject
[well okay he is but that's not why he's doing this.]
You don't get it! You don't get anything, so just leave me alone!
no subject
Then would you care to explain? I'm afraid I cannot get it until you shed some light on the matter at hand.
[There's nothing sarcastic about his words. He really wants to know.]
no subject
And why do you care?
no subject
no subject
Hard work? Only in the eyes of people like you.
[They don't know anything. They never know anything.]
no subject
If that's what you think, you should consult the gardeners. They won't know if you don't tell them.
no subject
... They won't understand.

[Even though they're the weird ones, for not being able to hear.]

Hit it right on the head, Yukio.
Kaoru doesn't reply and instead looks away.]
no subject
If you're that concerned about being unheard, I can call an acquaintance.
no subject
And what would that do? It's not like they'd believe me either.
no subject
no subject
That's actually really tempting, because it'd be great to meet someone like that—someone who understands flowers as well.
... On the other hand, what if he's just getting his hopes up?
Kaoru looks away. You can practically see the gears turning in his head—]
no subject
. . . and he's not going to say anything soon, so Yukio offers:]
She should be out of class right now. If it's all right with you, I can call her over.
no subject
hnnnnnngh he really does kind of want to see her. But interacting with other people...
... but person who likes flowers...]
... I guess.

Nodding, Yukio turns away while procuring a cell phone from his pocket. He phones his brother, in hopes that Shiemi would be with him; they're usually together.
. . .
A short conversation of "Is Shiemi-san there? I need her assistance with something" later, he hangs up and regards Kaoru.]
She should be here soon. If you'd rather hold your explanation for when she arrives, I'm fine with that.
no subject
He's just kind of awkwardly not meeting Yukio's eyes.]
... Why are you doing this?
no subject
. . . There are other ways to solve a problem than to simply annihilate it.
[He's more quoting his brother on this. While it is certainly the more sympathetic approach, Yukio is more inclined to be efficient and practical. If annihilation is the most practical path, he would take it.]
no subject
Kaoru's silent for a moment, before he speaks quietly.]
... That's the easiest way, though.
no subject

[He's muttering more to himself than to Yukio by this point. Honestly, why hasn't he run away yet—]
